A downloadable converter for Windows

Download NowName your own price

A tool to convert 2D video to 3D video.  Simply drag and drop a video into the window, select your resolution and depth scale, and hit convert.

Requirements

1. Windows 10/11

2. Java 21+

3. ComfyUI (Tested on version 0.3.27)

4. Custom Nodes:

5. ffmpeg

Tips:

  • Prioritizing quality is faster than prioritizing depth.
  • For a Quest 3, I at a minimum 1280x720 but 1920x1080 is the sweet spot. Use the resolution lower than that for speedy testing only.
  • Depth scale does not affect conversion time.
  • Best used for short clips 10 to 30 seconds long

Author's Notes:

  • Maximum clip length depends on your computer's system and gpu memory. I don't have the exact numbers but it seems like if your GPU can run Video Depth Anything on a video without getting an out of memory error, the conversion itself shouldn't take too much system memory.
  • Must be run on the computer that is also running ComfyUI
  • AMD GPUs probably work but I'm not sure. Please let me know if you can get this to run on AMD.
  • Please report any bugs you come across. In general, if everything is set up correctly, it should convert like a dream.

Hi great app you've made. Its working fine from the tutorials and readme file, problem is that i've got two comfyUI installs, one of them is the mobile or transportable edition. The only thing I use the standard edition (in my documents path) for, is Depthinator.  Is there some way I can get it to run in the standalone comfyUI?  Sorry, I forgot the technical term, it's means that the comfyUI is made to be copied and pasted elsewhere (unlike the standard that installs in my documents folder).

it works off of whichever ComfyUI is running on port 8188. I believe you just need to use --port=8188 or something like that as a command argument when running your comfyui server

yes thank you, I'll make some symbolic links and keep both comfy editions

    We need a tutorial please.

    No Linux build? 😔

I posted a universal .jar. Not sure if it works on Linux though. Theoretically, if you can get Video Depth Anything to run in comfyui you can run this.
